Cách thay dầu và lọc dầu

1. Warm up the engine so oil contaminents will drain more thoroughly.( làm nóng động cơ cho cặn dầu sẽ chảy sạch xuống dưới)

2. Park the vehicle on a solid, level surface and set the parking brake. Note: It may be necessary to lift the front of the vehicle to gain access to the oil filter and the drain plug. Make sure you support the vehicle with jack stands or place the vehicle on car ramps.( đậu xe ở vị trí chắc chắn, bằng phẳng và dùng phanh dừng. Lưu ý: nếu có thể cần thiết phải nâng phần trước xe lên để có thể làm việc dễ dàng với bầu lọc và cacte. Chắc chắn bạn có sự hỗ trợ với kích hay nơi dốc nghiêng)

3. Open and support the hood. Locate the oil fill cap on top of the engine. Remove the oil fill cap.( mở và giữ mui xe. Xác định vị trí nắp dầu và mở nắp)

4. Place a drain pan under the engine. Put on some latex gloves and remove the oil drain plug with a box end wrench or socket and ratchet. Allow the oil to drain thoroughly before re-installing the drain plug.(đặt thùng tháo dầu ở dưới cacte. Dùng găng tay cao su và mở con bulong dầu bằng mỏ lếch hay đầu tuýp với cán tự động. Để dầu tháo hết ra ngoài và vặn lại bulong dầu)

5. Slide the drain pan under the oil filter. Using an oil filter wrench, remove the oil filter. Wipe off the filter mounting surface with a clean towel.(để thùng hứng dầu phía duwois bộ lọc dầu. Sử dụng cờ lê lọc dầu, tháo lọc dầu. Lau sạch bề mặt bằng giẻ sạch)

6. Coat the new oil filter gasket with engine oil. Install the new oil filter by hand until the gasket makes contact with the filter mount. Turn the oil filter one additional turn to seal the gasket. Re-install the oil drain plug with a new washer. Tighten the drain plug to the manufacturer's specifications.(Phủ một miếng đệm lọc dầu mới. Lắp lại lọc dầu mới bằng tay đến khi chặt vào miếng đệm, Vặn lọc dầu thêm cho đến khi đúng vạch. Vặn lại bulong dầu. Xiếc với lực vừa đủ theo yêu cầu của nhà sản xuất)

7. Fill the vehicle engine with the manufacturer's recommended engine oil type and amount. Refer to your vehicle owner's manual if you are not sure.(Đổ dầu vào động cơ với loại dầu và mức dầu theo quy định của nhà sản xuất. Tham khảo sách hướng dẫn sử dụng nếu cảm thấy không chắc chắn)

8. Re-install the oil fill cap and start the engine to circulate the oil. Check for leaks while the engine is running. Place the vehicle on level ground if the vehicle was lifted.( vặn lại nắp dầu và khởi động lại động cơ cho dầu tuần hoàn. Để xe xuống vị trí bình thường)

9. Turn off the engine and check the oil level with the oil dipstick. Add oil if the level is not at the full mark. One quart will raise the level from the add mark to the full mark. Do not over fill the engine.( tắt động cơ và kiểm tra mức dầu bằng que thăm. Thêm dầu nếu mức dầu chưa đủ. 1qt sẽ là mức dầu

đầy. Đừng đổ quá nhiều.)
